# Balance doesn't Update after Transfer?

DEXX relies on both official and third-party nodes to process transactions. Sometimes, due to blockchain congestion, network issues, or third-party service instability, you may see that a transaction shows as completed on the blockchain, but the balance doesn't immediately reflect in the app. \
\
\*This is not unique to DEXX—leading exchanges and other trading platforms have similar issues. \
\
The blockchain record is always the most accurate source of information. If the transaction appears on-chain, it means the asset has reached your wallet, even if it's not yet displayed in the app.
